Watch How To Make It Here
This low-waste bath soak recipe is super quick and easy to make and will make your bath time super luxurious. I use powdered milk as well as Botany Squared's Hydroburst oil to nourish and soften the skin, Epsom salts to detoxify the body and the lovely scents of lavender and rosemary to calm and soothe your senses.
It's a beautiful way to wind down after a stressful day or week, and bathe in milk like Cleopatra.
Milky Rosemary & Lavender Bath Soak
1½ cups full-fat milk powder
¾ tsp grated unperfumed soap
2 tsp Epsom salts
¾ tsp Botany Squared Hydroburst Oil
1 tsp dried rosemary leaves
20 drops rosemary essential oil
20 drops lavender essential oil
dried rose leaves (optional)
Preheat the oven to 100°C/210°F.
Spread the milk powder onto a baking sheet and placee in the oven for 30 minutes to dry and kill any possible microbes.
In a glass jar with a lid (or other container) combine the grated soap, the Epsom salts, the Hydroburst oil, the rosemary leaves, both essential oils and the rose leaves if using. Once the milk powder has dried, add that into the mixture as well. Mix everything to combine well and seal the jar.
Store in a cool and dry place for up to 2 weeks.
